Product Description

Laird Technologies' Eccosorb™ MF-PA is a family of injection molded absorbers based on a thermoplastic matrix with high magnetic loss. Eccosorb MF-PA-120 is a high temperature alternative to Eccosorb MF-PP-120 for medium to high volume applications. Polyamide-based resin exhibits good mechanical properties recognized in many industries from space to automotive. Eccosorb MF-PA-120 products are used as attenuator and termination in waveguides, coaxial, or stripline applications as well as structural absorbers for board-level and above-board EMI suppression. Structural covers in Eccosorb MF-PA-120 material are a cost-effective alternative for traditional solutions where an absorbing material is glued on the metallic cover. This thermoplastic polymer is amenable to injection molded processes for low total cost of ownership and high-volume compliancy. Thermoplastic absorber materials are a good alternative to stock machining for 3D-shaped parts.
