Co-Engineered Shields

As the modified board level shield design and technology leader in the industry, Laird routinely shares its knowledge and experience to co-engineer excellence. Two-piece multi-compartmental board level shields and single piece drawn shields are examples. Available options and the latest industry advancements are discussed to achieve optimal design results and speed the time to market. Laird’s array of co-engineered custom precision metals products is generally thinner and lighter, helping save space. Our design team incorporates platforms including PTC Creo, AutoCAD and Solidworks technologies. For added quality assurance, Laird features an automated 100 percent coplanarity inspection system.

Laird ISE (multifunctional solutions)

When a planned design spawns unacceptable signal interference along with excessive heat, how can a team resolve both through a single supplier? How can it work within ever-shrinking space? Laird addresses these multi-faceted challenges using multifunctional products and solutions ranging from board level shields with heat transfer capabilities to electrically conductive fabrics.
