Laird Technologies Introduces T-Grease™ 880, a Thermally Conductive Grease For Advanced Computing Applications

Cleveland, OH. USA —November 16, 2005 — Laird Technologies Thermal Products (formerly known as Thermagon) today unveiled T-grease™ 880, its newest high-performance, stable and reliable silicone-based thermal grease developed to solve overheating issues in advanced computer chips, graphic processing units and ASICs.

“Laird Technologies is targeting the multifaceted thermal grease market with T-grease 880, an extension of our existing thermal grease offerings for customers’ most sophisticated computer processing products,” said Michael Dreyer, Laird Technologies’ vice president and general manager for the Thermal Products Division. “T-grease 880 is an attractive option for the electronics industry since the product is RoHS compliant, priced 30 to 50 percent lower than comparable options, has high thermal conductivity and very low thermal resistance. Our technology helps improve functionality and processing speed for some of the world’s most advanced notebooks, desktops and servers, as well as automotive and telecom applications.”

T-grease 880 does not dry out, pump out or separate over the long term, which further solidifies the superior benefits of the substance. In addition, the viscosity and consistency of T-grease 880 are ideal for applications where automatic dispensing, screen-printing or stenciling is required. T-grease 880 is available in one-half, one, and three kilogram containers or custom packaged in multiple syringe sizes for automated applications or single-use squeeze packs. T-grease 880 is price for large volume application under $200/Kg.
