The new website includes four new features:
- Product finder: Using this filtered search, customers can specify necessary properties for a part – such as density or operating temperature – and identify the best product to meet their specifications.
- “Buy now” feature: Once users identify a product they’d like to purchase, they can view distributor inventory globally through the Laird website and navigate to distributor websites to purchase the product.
- Auto-complete search: A revised search function compares user searches to details in the product catalog – including product family, product group, subgroup, product series name and title, part number, and part name – to bring up the most relevant results.
- Product hierarchy page: This webpage includes a complete list of Laird products, organized into product families, allowing customers to quickly navigate to specific solutions.
