Now available through the cooperation with SnapEDA and 3DContentCentral are free downloads of product and part models in various eCAD and mCAD formats.
ECAD models have been created for nearly 800 parts from the Laird™ Steward™ line of inductive component and ferrite core solutions. That number is growing daily. See an example by following a SnapEDA “Symbols, Footprint, 3D Model” link offered HERE. Models can be downloaded directly onto the PCB model or loaded to component libraries in one of 16 different eCAD formats available from SnapEDA.
Models will continue being created for additional parts in the future. Our Product and Part pages can be found easily using our highly popular Product Hierarchy or Product Finder pages.
In a second website enhancement, Laird’s Virtual Design Centre now adds to its convenience by having links to models directly on the website’s Product and Part pages.
The “VDC” allows Laird Performance Materials to generate configurable custom-built 3D models and make them available to our customers. Engineers can find the models using Laird.com or 3D Content Central. Models can be modified to fit the customer’s design needs and downloaded in the mCAD format of the customer’s choice.
